In a heartwarming display of community spirit and compassion, the Morning Dewfall Montessori School family embarked on a two-phase outreach initiative to support local orphanages. This meaningful journey reflects our core values of empathy, generosity, and social responsibility—lessons we instill in our students every day.
Our first visit took us to Gracious Hands Orphanage, where we were greeted with bright smiles and warm hearts. The MDMS family, including students, parents, teachers, and staff, came together to present a variety of essential items including educational materials, clothing, food supplies, and recreational equipment.
The children at Gracious Hands were overjoyed to receive these donations. Our students had the opportunity to interact with the orphanage residents, sharing stories, playing games, and creating bonds that transcended material gifts. This experience taught our learners valuable lessons about gratitude, sharing, and the impact of kindness.
Building on the momentum of our first visit, we extended our outreach to Porter's Village Orphanage located in Dodowa. This second phase was equally impactful, with our community rallying together to provide comprehensive support to these deserving children.
At Porter's Village, we delivered not only material donations but also spent quality time engaging with the children through educational activities, storytelling sessions, and fun-filled interactions. The joy and appreciation expressed by both the children and the caregivers at the orphanage reminded us of the profound difference we can make when we work together as a community.
This two-phase outreach would not have been possible without the extraordinary generosity and support of the MDMS family.
